Issue Review
   March 11, 2016
The engine driving the story is an attack on Captain America that puts him at death's door, sending Falcon after the villains responsible. Spidey happens to be working the case from another angle. Their meeting leads to a (dumb) fight, before they use a captured henchman to track the mastermind. It all flows quite well, and makes sense in an OTT comic book way. Itís fun, but you have to leave your brain behind when you read this one. 6/10

It never bodes well when the writer and the penciller combine for a total of 3 credited issue in the whole order.

  Holy hell was this horrible.

How many times will Fury and Cap consider Spidey a public menace, and not the veritable hero he is.

Every hero that encounters Spiderman has to attack first, before finding out what's going on. Ugh.

I didn't think it was as bad as you guys. I thought it was perfectly average.

Al wenzil did a good job on this issue. I wonder why he didn't get more work?

Fury is such a dick

When did Spidey fight Plantman previously? He seemed pretty familiar with Planty.

Wenzel had been drawing comics since the 30's. He drew Will Eisner's Spirit comic somewhere around late 40's or early 50's. I'm assuming its the same person of course.

Most artist who started in the 30's don't evolve their style to fit the times, but I'm amazed that Wenzel looks so good.
