Wow, this is crazy. Laugh-out-loud funny. Very original and very much in keeping with the tone of the series. Seeing so many heroes together, just goofing off, is a genuine delight. 10/10

-This is pretty silly. Who thought this was a good idea?

"defender for a day" was one of the things I was looking forward too, after reading about it various indexes. What a let down.

I just can't even...wow, that was so bad. Crazy stupid bad, like Jim Shooter had been dropping acid when he approved it bad.

I think I found the issue that made me stop reading comics years ago.

What... what's happening... I can't -- was David Kraft trying to win a bet here or something? Are we supposed to empathize with Nighthawk, who's basically losing it in a WTFrage? It's almost wacky enough to work! Almost.

This is awesome... 3 star awesome, but nonetheless... It's comical and obviously setting something up that will probably get ruined because the Defenders haven't been the same since Strange left.

This is it. This is the worst comic I've ever read. There was absolutely no redeeming quality to this mess. Dollar Bill is stupid. Nighthawk is an a**hole. Valkyrie is serving coffee. Top heroes are showing up for no credible reason. Everybody is acting like fools. This just a big steaming pile of **** in every possible way.

All the negative comments make this a must read for me. I wanna see how bad it is.

Don't get the negative comments here. Far from the worst comic ever and at least something different from "crime, misunderstanding hero fight, blown villain trap, villain goes to prison"

I found that I actually liked this issue. It was quite charming. I loved it when a bunch of b&c list heroes showed up on the door step.

  - There is no way that "frizz-bee" would have knocked Val back like that. I would have broke on those rock hard abs.
- Marvel really needs to get rid of these sidekick characters like Dollar Bill and Rick.
- That "documentary" was horrible. For once I am on Nighthawk''s side.
- If there was a plan to capture Hulk, I would not follow one devised by Torpedo.
- Ultimately, this issue was ridiculous, but made it work.

These days, there's something chilling about seeing so many extremely powerful people who are just teenage boys who've never grown up.

But current context aside, I thought this was an entertaining issue. Not everyone is written well (frankly most of the dialogue is very bad, and I hope there's some in-story explanation for why Nighthawk's losing it), but points for Kraft for trying something new.

Was Hercules ever the leader of the Champions though? I thought that was Black Widow.

I found this comic hilarious in how just absurdly silly it was, but then again I love the Howard the Duck books as well and I am pretty much in the minority there as well.

Is Kraft purposely making Kyle look completely incompetent? There was the plan last issue and this issue....

-Nighthawk has a jetpack.
-Falcon doesn't.
-Nighthawk couldn't catch him.

I was hoping some heroes would try and catch the Hulk.

I know it's echoing many others but, Dollar Bill needs to go, I didn't like when he first appeared and haven't since. Nighthawk was a huge jerk in this issue, he works better as a side character, not a leader. If there was any hint of him learning to better himself, I'd be more interested but the arc doesn't seem like it'll ever happen.

Overall, I liked this issue though. It was interesting to see how many problems would occur if everyone was just on the same team, all at once.
