Issue Review
   March 15, 2016
Most of this is devoted to the good guys trying to escape from the villain. Spider-Woman is almost a supporting character: being sent on an errand, and not always sure what is going on. It's debatable who saves the day, her or Magus (her mentor). One of the ongoing subplots comes to fruition here when a character who has been tracking her finally finds (and kisses!) Spider-Woman. Curious to see how this plays out. 6/10

I think I've fallen for the writing of this series.

I think I'm taking back my last comment. This is getting much better.

  I feel bad for Jack.

Constantly doing the RIGHT thing and trying to protect the world from the werewolf, and others are freeing him and letting the wolf free

Surprised people think this was an improvement - I thought it was one of the worst-written issues I've read in a while. Why is Jack Russell even in this issue? Jerry Hunt is a creepy stalker and Jessica has absolutely no reason to be interested in him, so what's with that ridiculous kiss? And why does Marv Wolfman have Jack narrate this issue (or the first half, Wolfman seems to have given up halfway through) when he wasn't even present/conscious for most of what happened? And after Morgan just torched Magnus's body, did it really not occur to her the same thing could happen to hers?

You took the words right out of my mouth. This was lucky to get 2 from me.

Me: Ugh is this magnus guy like the 5th version of Merlin in the order?
Spider-Woman#5 - Uh... no! surprise! he is actually... um... Morgan le Fey's student!

Each issue is worse than the previous. This series is just a mess.
