Good story, with plenty of enjoyable Hulk action. It's also quite funny. Hulk is written with humour here, as almost everything he says seems like a wisecrack. Angel and Iceman get plenty of action, too. 9/10

-Byrnesy and the Sentinels make for a compelling page-turner.

Great rendition of the Hulk by Byrne.

Amazingly, this is the issue that John Byrne famously complained about the way Bob Layton's inking changed his drawing, saying it made him feel sick to his stomach and that in Layton's inking all the male characters look "queer" with "bouffant hairdos and heavy eye make-up and an upper lip with a little shadow in the corner which to me says lipstick." Sorry, Byrne. I'm really not seeing it here. I'm sorry your dad said that Angel looked queer on page 7; still shouldn't have taken that kind of messed up stuff out on your co-artists!

This is almost a 5 star issue. Great uses of everyone's powers and a callback to a great X-Men story line. I think it's only missing lasting character development.

Come on Bobby. You can do better than Teresa Sue Bottoms!

I never knew Hulk fought a sentinel. Fantastic story, even if Iceman was worthless throughout.

That was really good. It started off setting everything up nicely, and brought everything together in a believable way.

Also, Angel and Iceman did not fight the hulk over some silly misunderstanding!

Even though this is a Hulk book I am happy they went back to some X-Men roots.

This was a fun comic. I wish they had done an an Angle and Iceman comic instead of the Champions because they work well together.
