Issue Review
   March 15, 2016
This is good. Mark Gruenwald really knows how to tell a story. The villain (?) crosses paths with SW a couple of times, and her reaction feels genuine: curiosity and a desire to make a friend. So much better than what most other series do. The heroine is really well written here. For the first time in the series, her character traits feel integrated in the story. She really is dreadfully isolated and alone. It doesn't help that her boyfriend is a dick. (Maybe he's Odin in disguise!) 10/10

-Another innovative villain, too bad they didn't use 'em very often.

I really like Infantino's art, but for some reason the human faces, and especially Jessica's, feel wrong.

I like the way Gruenwald keeps the villain backstory hidden. It makes the story more interesting, not less. Unlike Gerry Conway, Gruenwald seems to understand show, don't tell.

Did anybody else notice the Black Canary at the party? Nicely done Carmine!

  Sloth want friends?

Another abrupt ending, but overall, these have been really good. They're using new or little used villains, but doing a great job with it.

Jessica, that dude talking to you at the party is gay. He was on fire. How did you not notice? Of course he isn't going to react the same as other men. Duh.

Jerry is the worst. I'm liking spider woman's villains. They don't want to kill anyone or take over the world. They just want to sew your lips shut ( admittedly painful I'm sure) or take the fabric from your clothes.

That's the third villain they've introduced and then disappears. I liked all three. I thought the Needle was the best of the bunch, but I would love to see more Hangman and Gypsy.

Stop creating such interesting villains and not using them!
