Issue Review

Chapter One - These 12 pages constitute the best HTD story in ages.

Itís high concept and very entertaining.

Funny, too. Especially the bit with the cigar salesman.

8/10

Chapter Two - Enjoyable stuff.

The return to Duckworld is proving to be more than a gimmick, as this chapter delivers some very interesting ideas.

First, we learn that a cult has built up around Howard. That seems unlikely at first, but... (continued)

Didn't like this one, just not as bad as Howard the Duck has been, also gets a plus for the Michael Golden art so...

I think it was ok. Certainly best issue of the series so far. At least something interesting was actually happening.

I was always hoping that Howard's reality would be the Disney's one, but as it turns out, it's not. Too bad.

And faweweww Winda. Faweweww.

-Beautifully drawn, horribly written. Great pains are made to make Bev look like a sexpot in each panel in which she appears.

This one is ripe with jokes and puns. Combined with an actual original and interesting story, has actually for the first time in a long while made me be interested in Howard again.

'Crowd control to major Tom -- my circuit's dead' on page 17 is quite brilliant.

If you pay close attention, there are 2 cameo appearances by Gyro and Scrooge from Duckberg. Duck Tales, woo woo.

That's what she said: "...Hold on, ducky...I'm coming."

Ducktales didn't debut until 7 years after this issue was published...

I know. I was going for humor, not accuracy. Plus their names in the story were
Gyro and Scrooge. Work with me lol
