Issue Review

RikerDonegal
   June 15, 2017
Michael Fleisher takes over as writer with an aggressive revamp of the series/character.

Not that there was anything wrong. The Mark Gruenwald issues were good, but MF quickly establishes a new status quo that is much more proactively "crime fighter". And he seems determined to remove Jessica's self-pity.

This story takes place after several changes have taken place in our star's life. These changes are alluded to, but not explained. New characters, new approach to life/crime fighting and two unrelated cases where SW struts her stuff.

The two cases are bland but the new direction is fun. And it's exciting to wonder what will come next.

8/10

-Ahhh. The penultimate comic of the 70s. I wonder what's last...Starnes prolly did that on purpose.

The change of direction shows promise. Better than the Parker-esque luck Drew was handed out.
