Dramatic opening to this, which is a complete cheat. Look! Spider-Woman is in danger! Oh, wait, she's not, ha ha. And the explanation - a Spider-Woman soritity? - is absurd.

What Does the Villain Want? Once again, the real villain is a newspaperman looking to boost his paper's circulation by helping crooks.

His plan involves bugging a walking cane and somehow knowing that the crook will hold onto it. For some reason.

The engine driving the story, therefore, is silly. We have to accept that the Enforcer will keep the cane. And we must accept that Dockery knew that he would. Neither seems likely. So, once you think about it, the story falls apart.

Once again SW is captured. And once again her wheelchair-bound partner - who has no powers - rushes to her rescue.

He also makes some pretty wild deductions about what's really going on. Based on nothing. A lazy way to move the plot forward.

4/10

So from what I can see the editor really bungled the job. Not only is this the biggest ammount of text errors I've seen in an issue, but also the identity of the Enforcer creates a whole lot of mess. Thankfully, it's only a minor character...

-Good thing ol' Scotty was able to check EVERY building on Mullins street for the hideout. Good thing the were all handicap accessible too.

Hope Fleishers run on SW comes to an end soon, because this title has gone from a fun read, to: do I really have to read this

Don't like the superhero-forced-to-crime angle at all.

  This whole concept is stupid.
