that was one chaotic story.. the only positiv thing i can say about the last 3-4 cap storys is that they are short.

Agent 60: "I've served Shield for years -- I've given up everything -- but -- how much -- how much more can they ask of me --?
Cap (Thinks): He's starting to crack! I've seen the signs -- so often before!
Me: No Shit Sherlock!!

While those action filled Cap's aren't actually bed, they add almost nothing to his story, actually that's the problem, Stan had yet no idea what to do with Cap's life.

Did he just try to get a date through Fury? I'm so embarrassed for you, Cap.

Coming from someone who doesn't read many issues in a row, lately I've always felt like I missed something or forgot what happened in the previous issue, because they jump into the story too damn quickly.

Romantic Angst invades the Cap stories. Damn!

This story feels like it was whipped up in 5 minutes. Not sure I get the point of this one.

Nothing about Caps solo stories have been interesting except the possible romance setup (that isn't even being explored). Other than Red Skull and Zemos the villians suck. Not sure why he had his own series outside the Avengers.

So are we just not going to talk about the Beeper Dogs, then?

From the river, to a hospital, to the Orient...Cap must have some sort of teleportation power that we aren't aware of.
This was a filler and a waste of my time.

Another story out of nowhere. I hate how it just starts with Cap starting the action. I feel cheated out of my $0.12. Three stars.

This was probably one of the best random action issues I have read, though the ending was VERY contrived.

2 stars for the rise and fall of Yashonka! Wow, so much detail is put into this group, only for Cap to blow it all to kingdom come!!

'Nuff Said - "He knows how to give with a blow!"-Aroused Yashonka Solider

Beeper Dogs are only spoken of in low hushed whispers in dark alleys by desperate men...

Considering that the endings of the last several Cap stories don't matter, I wish Stan would have left out the words and just let Jack go to town.

I was looking forward to finding out about Agent 13. Really disappointed by this one.

The solo Cap stories are in free-fall. They are not bad in and of themselves but they have no bearing at all on the over-arching MU.

  "Colonel Kuro Chin"
Really? Really? A SHIELD agent pretending to be a Chinese colonel with a name that quite literally means "black dick" in Japanese??? wow...

  GroovyGolem Says:

These Cap solo stories have been all over the map. Literally, you can pretty much hear Stan saying "I'm too busy this month, Jack. I don't know... just start it with him jumping through a window and beating the snot out of a bunch of Commies. Just make something up, I'll figure it out later."

I had to laugh at the very end though... I misread Fury's line as "Lady in question NOT PREGNANT" and thought "Wait, what?"

"One of SHIELD's top female agents". The hilarious misogyny lives on!

Beeper dogs? Sounds like slang for an 80's investment banker gang.

Also: geez, Cap, a little melodramatic at the end, no? She's on a mission, not dead. Maybe just reschedule dinner for next week?

These tales feel rushed with the short space they're given. I also don't feel enough of a connection with Cap in his own mag, perhaps because he doesn't have much of a supporting cast or underlying plotline (besides being "out of his time"). Hope they develop this new female agent storyline quickly (yes yes I know who she is and that they do develop the plot at some point... I just hope it's soon!)
