How many times till they learn not to toy?? But it is a good comeback anyway!

Another 'return' of Bucky with the usual results. Bucky returns as often as Aunt May goes to the hospital.

this was very predictable with the Bucky stuff.......

While the story was well told, the twists were pretty easy to anticipate, but overall a good ish.

Good issue, but I find it hard to believe the Red Skull got pissed at a battle bot losing an arm but Bucky being destroyed didn't phase him.

Cap showing his age with that corny "when lions learn how to moo" joke.

One damn thing after another. The art was poor too.

2 stars for the Red Skull being all talk and no action!

Page 6 panel 3: that's one awesome rendering of the Red Skull. So substitute the Soviets for the Red Skull and add a bionic arm (instead of a robot) and this is basically Brubaker's Winter Soldier run writ small?

Seemed a little like a filler ish.

I dunno, I thought this pre-Winter Soldier story was pretty cool in concept. Having Bucky appear slightly aged and grown up was a cool idea, and there were some great panels of the Red Skull, like mets guy said. Aside from the first panel, the rest of page 8 was awesome.

Although I will admit now, I have no idea how they're handling Cap's age. I always thought he didn't age for the 20 years he was in the drink, but they've occasionally mentioned how he's and old man, including this issue. Yet, in the previous issue, Cap mused how it could be Bucky on the view screen if he too was in suspended animation. But did he look 20 years older? Totally confused.

I liked this outing. This arc does bear some strong semblances to Brubaker and Epting's Winter Soldier arc, but that didn't keep this issue from having a bit of emotional impact from Cap I could feel. (Sorry if I'm divulging any spoilers) But it'll be hard to take any further Bucky "revivals" seriously until Winter Soldier.

As Webslinger mentioned already: "When will they stop to "toy" with their foes or delight themselves in their moment of victory (that isn't one until their foe is really defeated).

I think Red Skull should be an intelligent villain and learn from his past failures... He had THE almighty power with the Cosmic Cube last time and he even mentioned now, how his carelessness brought him the loss that last time. And now...he does all the same again...

Nice to see ol' Skeletor again (though I have to admit I knew it was coming - I saw the front of the next in the order as I downloaded from Marvel Unlimited). However, the Bucky twist was way too short. They ought to have revealed Bucky this iss, have him battle Cap to a cliffhanger, then leave the reveal to next issue. As it was, it felt rushed.

The whole Bucky thing is going to be a drag until there's actually some sort of progress towards it. You can sniff out it's a trap from miles away and makes things less entertaining for me personally.
