I always knew Cap could not be trusted! ;-)

Okay, I think I've got this. If you're a bad guy, you use karate, and if you're one of the good guys, you use judo.

A little annoyance for me here. Our heroes are so true in their honour, that even in the protection of the entire human race, they will not kill a man out of necessity. They will perpetrate or assist in evil acts, because they gave their word to serve some villainous evil-doer. It's called being under duress, I'm sure others will forgive your duplicity.

I'm glad, I've seen much worse Cap's tales..

  leisch Says:

Where are all the other heroes in New York while this is going on? There should be at least half a dozen super types that should be hammering at that dome.

  EmptyEmp Says:

"Serve me for 24 hours"... Is Red Skull threatening to murder millions of people or blackmailing his brother for breaking curfew?

  duncanm Says:

Oh come on Cap, you don't have to keep your word when someone extorted it out of you! Just shield slap that jerk.

  dpaone Says:

I love how Stan the man can write a story where a craft flies at supersonic speeds with a window completely blown out by cap and no one gets sucked out this window, freezes, or asphyxiates.

I'm liked Gil Kane's art in these past 3 issues.

Did anyone else find this... Creepy? Be my slave for 24 hours or I kill millions. You will do whatever I say. Creepy yet kinky...

TERRIBLE story. Cap was escaping things too easily.

Just 2 stars for the Red Skull tricking Cap with the no take back rule!!

Gullible - I agree with what others have said above. As soon as the Red Skull set NYC back down; Cap should've hit him with his shield. Saying that he had his fingers crossed the whole time!!!

'Nuff Said - "Speak, you star-spangled swine!! Speak--"-Red Skull

All of midtown Manhattan from the East River to the Hudson is just a bit more than a square mile. Just saying... I mean its not like the Red Skull to undersell his magnificent bubble machine.

I agree that Cap should have turned on the Red Skull after NYC was safe. This arc has been alright so far. Hope the Red Skull gets whats coming. Also, the art has improved over the last couple of issues.
3 Stars

It's hard to be scared when the Red Skull refers to his deadly bubble. I mean, it's a bubble.

I'll bet the Red Skull and the Mandarin would be good buds, discussing the mightiest karate chops ever known over a beer.

Joe Sinnott's inking was an improvement in this issue.

Using a giant plastic bubble to destroy entire cities...
Best. Evil. Plan. Ever.
I don't even feel like I need to read any more. Giant plastic bubble? Well that's clearly unbeatable.

3 stars for the second most menacing bubble ever devised.

I think the #1 rank belongs to SpongeBob.

  Urgat Says:

I think Cap is a little bit toooooo (lawful) good ;-) to be a super hero. From time to time you just have to rely on lying or being deceptive, or simply punch someone in the face so hard, his head gets kicked off....

  Allencthulhu @ Canuck (original post):

They know Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Akido, Ninja and at least another dozen dangerous sounding words.

  Allencthulhu Says:

Well, at least they'll never, ever, ever, try this silly "Cap is a traitor" story line again...oh, never mind.

Not good. Rather glad we're getting close to the end of Tales of Suspense. Cap should get a lot better once he has more pages.
