Like...This issue was the livin' end, Dad! Seriously, the party for Flash was the swinginest!

Pretty good issue, even if I was attacked by all the slang. And yeah, couldn't help but remember the Deadpool parody comic of this issue... on Mary Jane spontaneously dancing, "so young to be involved in the crack".

i'm loving spidey. its the most consistent book in the order. the supporting cast are a big part of what makes this book great and i especially love mj and gwens friendship/rivalry and i love the cool mod outfits that big john draws them in but what the bloomin 'eck are they going on about? what is this dad nonsense? and harry's hair...whats that all about?

Has anybody ever seen Ned Lees and Flash at the same time. They seem to be drawn as the same person in this one.

This is my first read of this one.
How ironic that Spidey saves Norman Osborn from falling to his death. I wonder iof that moment came back to haunt him later in life.
I wish Stan would quit trying to write dialogue like he knows how a "real" teen would talk.

This was a great issue...... not a Spidey fan but right now it's one of the better parts of the Order and this was great...... The send off for Flash was done really well......

Uh oh, more than one female character in a scene at once. Quick Stan, make them hate each other.

Very good issue. I have always loved the dynamic between Spider-man, Flash and Peter. I'm interested in seeing what happens to Flash in the 'Nam. Good luck over there in the jungle Pussycat!

Great issue, loved the dialogue between Flash and Petey at the end, really makes the people seem real. 4 stars.

Fun issue. Kraven's always entertaining, but still dumb for not killing Spidey when he was knocked out.

Am I mistaken or is this the first reference of Mary Jane as 'M.J'?

This made me laugh, "i'll bet she's putting you on, son! You're aunt's probably hipper than you!"
Ps kraven is really cool.

4 stars for Kraven hunting a Goblin!!!

Cover Me - I think that is what all of Spidey's villains see...little Spideys jumping all around them!

Jailbird - @jfpj1991: You know how the Marvel prison system is. They probably had him take a US citizenship test by mail!!!

Swinging Pussywillows - I wonder how many tense teen-agers back in '67 had to be alone with this comic after they bought it!!??

Weave - Yeah, I wonder how Kraven knew Harry was Norman's son? It couldn't be because they both have the same freaky hair!!??

Follow That Cab - @jfpj1991: Maybe Norman knew that Harry was in Midtown, and after getting the butlers call. He was afraid that Kraven would attack his son to get to him.

'Nuff Said - "Then print the truth, for once! Spider-Man saved my life...and you know it!"-Norman Osborn

One of the things I really like about Romoita's art is his attention to detail.

Check out M.J.'s dress pattern in the panel where she's dancing. The pattern distorts corresponding to her movements. Most artists today are too lazy to do that....

Really wanted to dislike this issue after they claimed Kraven was working for the Goblin last time he appeared. Weak writing at its best! Overall it was pretty enjoyable. Nice send off for flash, it's a shame if this was real life he probably wouldn't return home, at least not as happy as he was.

I never really paid attention to Kraven's costume before, until the electric nipples made their appearance. Then I realized he's running around town in ballet shoes and cheetah-print spandex capris. And the lion's head split down the middle as a vest? Rad, Dad!

I love, love, LOVE John Romita. Something about the way he can convey so much with so few lines. Look at the emotions on Norman's and Kraven's faces on Pg19/P2. So awesome.

This issue was pretty great, the lightning nipples were odd, but they were funny, so they get a pass.

I really loved the farewell to Flash at the end. Actually made me concerned he might not make it back!

  Russ Says:

Those nipple gadgets probably inspired Mike Myers or somebody involved in the Austin Powers movies to create those fembots......you know, the ones with the guns in their....lion vests!

4 stars for a swingin' fight and the swinginest party for Flash!

Is Kraven incapable of wearing normal clothes? Or is that the only set he owns? You'd think it would be easier to just change into street clothes than to get a trenchcoat to fit over that mane.

Good issue, not great until the end with Flash and Peter shaking hands. That alone gives it four stars.
