I love the idea of Kree being on Earth tousands years ago but Ronan could be better developed character. And he talks to himself way too much.

Hahaha, I didn't even notice that they were in the same bed together, I had to go back and look it up. That was awesome!

Enough of this superheroing for Sue. She wants fancy dresses and silly hair-dos 'cause she's a woman and they don't have any responsibilities outside of house keeping.

man, the 60s woman treatment is in full force in this one..... Love the full introduction of the Kree.......

While I'm afraid it may make me seem homophobic, I can't help but ask "Why the hell are Torch and Thing sleeping together?!" and "Why the hell is Thing watching Torch bathe?!" I refuse to believe that there was ever a time when this would be looked upon as just normal buddy behavior.

In spite of myself I am intrigued as to what is going on with crazy Alicia.

So the Torch and the Thing share a bed. And the Thing watches Johnny bathe. Hmmm...

  scottyjrules Says:

Also why does the Thing have an itchy tongue after spending the night in the same bed as Johnny?

"Wives should be kissed -- and not heard!"

I'm shocked Reed didn't tell Sue to go make him a sandwich too. I'm adding an extra star for some of the best old timey sexism yet from the Silver Age...

So, Johnny's normal clothes are all asbestos treated now? Or is that just a continuity error?

4 stars for the 1st app of Ronan & the Supreme Intelligence!!!

Cover Me - I always loved the look on Ronan's face!

Judge & Jury - I've always liked Ronan, and it's a good thing they dropped the "Public" from his title. He seems to have a pinkish hue in this issue. Not sure when he gets smurfed though. Also, I loved his portrayal in "Guardians of the Galaxy"!!!

Hot Topic - @MattzLadd: I'm pretty sure in Strange Tales he had asbestos threads, and probably unstable molecules in Fantastic Four.

Backup - Good to see Reed backin' the blue!!

'Nuff Said - "I want to be involved with super-markets--instead of super-villains!"-Homemaker Sue

I loved that shot of Ben checking out his tongue in the mirror. That whole scenario with him and Johnny was so bizarre. "Working late," they say. How many of us have tried that one? "It's so late you might as well spend the night. No trouble at all!"

And WHAT is going on with Alicia? That came out of left field, but I'm hooked!

I'm not surprised Alicia is going crazy. The poor thing must be jumpy as hell. It must be hard being blind, but every other issue someone is breaking through her wall unexpectedly, causing complete chaos. How does an artist like her afford to pay for all of the damages? Maybe Ben threatened to rough the landlord up if he ever tries to evict her. Just sayin'.

  Russ Says:

That was actually a pretty intense issue. Ronan made for one compelling villain mainly because, like the Sentry last issue, he was there to do his job rather than oppose the protagonists for grins and giggles. And I always like Ben's never-say-die attitude in battle when the tide goes against him. The only quibble here is that it did seem to end a little too fast; Ronan disappearing simply because his weapon discharged on him; I just don't see him giving up that quickly for any reason.

Of course, I'm looking forward to seeing what happened to Alicia. I read the story many years ago; let's see if it's as good as I remember it.

5 stars regardless. The Kree are going to be a handful for the entire Marvel pantheon, not just the Fantastic Four. And, my own submission for 'Nuff Said: "Superior beings don't have to be constantly proving their superiority!" - Holier-than-thou-Reed
