Yandroth kind reminds me of Lex Luthor with him being bald and into science. His suit kind of reminds of a green and black version of his superfriends suit too.

That two page spread is absolutely stunning. While others have done some fantastic art up to this point I'll say that Steranko is easily the most interesting of the bunch.

Minus one star for voltorr. Too many stupid giant robots!

Aaaahhhhhh giant robot drummer! Too stupid looking to be remotely scary. I'm with Schlodz on this one, too many stupid giant robots.

I would have thought that, if anybody, Dr Strange would be spared the giant robot stories.

Beautifully done Shield story.

Beautiful drawings of Nick Fury, lots of well done poses and high quality by Steranko, compared to his peers.

oh man, everything was going great and then we get a giant robot...... :(

Those were some great opening frames for Fury, almost felt like a kid again watching GI Joe after school.
The Doc's story made me kind of confused, though. Why is Lex Luther and a giant Robbie the Robot in a Marvel mag?

The Fury story is building, really enjoying this arc.

Professor X is Stranges nemesis? And he can walk? By the whorey hags of Hades!

3 stars

Everything in this issue was great to look at. The stories are decent (another giant robot though?), but the art is what gives it that extra star.

2-page splash of SHIELD boarding the ship is awesome!!! Wait...of all the high tech gear SHIELD is capable of making...they make a slingshot? Yep...we're still in the 60's...I almost forgot.
Strange story...By the ninth teorem of anti-matter!!! By the hoary hosts of hoggoth!!! Yep science versus magic at it's greatest I see. OMG Voltorg looks horrible. Sheesh.

Low Tech - @marvelcomicslover: And, don't forget Sitwell's blowgun!!

'Nuff Said - "An' it looks like he's stripped down fer action, too! I know it ain't kosher to nail a guy from behind, but..."-Flaming Fury

Dum Dum is back! And here I had sort of written him off in my head as Steranko so unceremoniously removed him, Sitwell, and Gabe from the storyline a few issues ago.

This was a good, action-packed page turner! I got to the last panel and thought "Already?!?" I felt like I blew through it in 5 minutes. Maybe it was the generous use of double-spreads, full splashes, and half splashes, but it worked! one minor nit here... I would have liked to have seen Fury's full fist extend out of the frame boundary on Pg5/P5 (that panel practically screamed for it), but that would have covered up the action on the frames above it. Oh well.

I was ready to cry "foul!" When I saw Fury take those armored spiked fists to the ribs and expected him to still be standing, but no, he pretty much had his @$$ handed to him at the end there. Didn't expect that!

And finally... @Locust75: you kill me! :-D

Yeah, Nick's been getting his rear handed to him at the end of several issues in this arc. Once or twice is fine, but we're starting to repeat cliffhangers here just to stretch out the story.

Good to see Dum Dum again. Now we just need to see Stiwell and Gabe too.

And out of nowhere, Dum Dum Dugan is there again, and already full in action to save the (or at least his buddy Fury). But nice resolve of the cliffhanger from last issue there!

But overall I do not enjoy this Story-Arc as much as the Hydra and AIM Arcs we had so far. I think it is because Fury seems to do everything solo and this times gets punished for it...but as we all know him, he will be up and swinging at the start of next Issue!
