I like both Mantlo and Trimpe's work in general, but this is a lackluster comic. The best thing about it is the Byrne cover.

The best thing about this comic is that don't have to read it again.

Stupid but not without some fun. The idea of someone selling super villain life insurance is interesting. Too bad Mantlo doesn't have the chops to make it work.

As a kid, I'd have thought this was a really lame scheme. As an adult, it's a brilliant scheme. But it still doesn't make for an exciting issue.

Decent. Cap is definitely a rehabilitation over punishment type of guy.

A villian with a believable motivation and a hero that is not a jerk. Refreshing read.
