It looked like Rorschach showed up in this one.

Why didn't Strange use his telepathy on the guards and have one of them remove the mask and gloves?

What should have ended as a masterpiece last issue now gets carried on too long.

I really shouldn't read these 60's comics when I'm sleepy...ugh. This wasn't very good, although it was nice to see Strange use more of his powers.

3 stars for Mordo's Minions who were actually able to capture Strange!!

Cuffs - I do like the mask and gloves to keep the good Doctor in line!

I Feel Pretty - You just know that Kaecilius was dancing in around Strange's cape!!!

'Nuff Said - "I've got you!"-Dr. Strange

Strange insurance... Is it me or does the good dr. need to renew his policy with All-State for protection against mayhem?

3 stars for unpredictable mayhem!

Maybe it was a bad idea for the Mediocre Three to give Strange metal gloves that he can use as a weapon.

My Question: Why is Vic Sage mad at Doctor Strange? Did Doc speak ill of Ayn Rand again?

Not just another pretty face... the witch's underlings don't bat an eye when her mystical eyes give them commands, even though earlier she was dressed as The Question, I assume to hide her identity. Or more likely her gender.

I always assumed Doc's spirit form was invisible, but he frightens an underling with it, so can he make it visible or is it always visible? Certainly he has roamed through crowded streets as a spirit without raising a ruckus, so I guess the former.

Great art, great suspense... I love Ditko Doctor Strange!

I'm definitely losing interest in this story. The art is still great but the story had really gotten boring.

Hmm... I call foul. This one seems to break all of the rules and conventions we've seen so far regarding Strange's powers and his ectoplasmic self.

I did like that he alerted himself to the bomb by way of smarts as opposed to purely mystical means.

A marked decrease in quality after the awesome miniseries. I find it weird that the master is off searching for Clea as a reward for Doctor Strange. Weird, but amusing.

  • That's my line "Now by the Seven Rings of Raggadorr, there shall be a reckoning!" (Doctor Strange)

  • I was expecting that the masked deputy would be some previous character and that the writers wanted to surprise us with a reveal. So now I'm trying to understand why they would employ such a meaningless subterfuge.

  • Doc, "My timing must be perfect!" is the worst catchphrase ever! Stop using that!

  • Strange's bindings was a clever plot. His attempts to escape offered a different kind of action and the change was welcome. 3 stars!
