It isn't even some mistaken identity thing. It's ONE PANEL. And then shortly thereafter, they team up to fight against an unknown foe - revealed at the conclusion to be ZEMO! Good reveal to bring back someone SO long dead. And good idea to flip and start with Cap first, too. Interesting way to bring Panther into the fold of comicdom, and make him an Avenger.

Great ending. Wasn't expecting him at all.

I was fully expecting the villain to be Red Skull, so +1 star for that reveal.
Cap doesn't know what Panther is up to so he just attacks him. Dumb stategy, but they had to get them fighting.

They left us alone while we were unconscious, because they thought we were playing possum, but then they had to re-trap us, so they could laser us from space?!?!?

It's Cap vs The Black Panther...for one page...for no good reason.
Is it just me or do these flunkies look like they should be working for Galactus?
Zemo's appearance was kind of telegraphed by the whole "you wont believe me if I tell you who it is" and "bad guy working out of the jungle", but it was nice to see the reveal nonetheless.

There was literally no reason why BP couldn't tell CA that it was Zemo.

Does the Black Panther invite any one he doesn't test/fight? He did the same thing to the FF. This story is so much better than previous CA stories, but the pointless fight and BP not telling CA who the enemy was drags it down.

3 stars for the Black Panther party being ruined...

Cover Me - Great image of Cap and Panther tussling!!

Scarface - Man, what happened to that one scientist?

Fear Factor - That is one creepy looking satellite! Plus, Kirby sure loves drawing planets!!

'Nuff Said - "They fight like beasts--we'll catch them like beasts!"-Minion

I liked how Cap's shield split the gun down the middle, that was pretty cool. OMG....this is so corny and just not good.

"They're unconscious, should we finish them?"
"No, they may be faking. Leave them."
"But we have guns, we don't even have to get close to them."
"I said leave them!"

Baron Zemo is not to be trifled with. He can withstand the overbearing heat and humidity of the jungle in a ski mask and fur-trimmed garments.

I love how Kirby's version of space always has tons of planets and dark stars just outside of Earth's upper atmosphere. No wonder we get visited by so many aliens!

On Pg8/P4 I was expecting Salt-n-Pepa to make an appearance after Black Panther got shooped. "Here I go, here I go, here I go again..."
.
I think it's ironic that in so many of these Silver Age stories we get the heroes fighting each other and we all complain, yet that's what we got in the Captain America Civil War movie, and we loved it! It's a formula that works!

There's some good bits in this (especially Agent 13 actually doing something), but I still knocked the score down for the stupid and misleading "VS" thing.

The Bob Gale in the lettercol is the future co-writer of Back to the Future (as well as other film projects with Bob Zemeckis and the occasional comic book stint).

"Cap vs. ....The Panther".....for five panels. Seriously.....

I'm holding out as far as where this is going though. But so far the execution of this story hasn't been very good. Panther holding out on the identity of their foe doesn't exactly foster trust; these two have to depend on each other in the heat of battle.

But Agent 13 had an impressive little sequence in this story. Her role in this might be interesting if she doesn't fall in the damsel in distress trope.

2 stars though. The whole Zemo reveal was clearly forced and played up for drama. At least the action sequences were good.
