Nice to see Wyatt Wingfoot in this issue. I always liked Byrne's portrayal of the character.

-There are some nice touches in this one, but it's still just a 60s anthology-style tale at its core.

Invisible woman looks different in this one, not just the hair but the facial structure. Weird.

The last page gave me a double-take. Terminus is really ridiculous-looking. How am I supposed to take him seriously?

Also, Byrne's map of the USA on pg. 20 is really bad.

While the idea of a giant alien scrawling "MINE" on a planet like it's a lunch bag in the office fridge is pretty funny, the writing takes it very seriously. I guess that's what gives this the "60s anthology" feel. Also, a mile-wide laser sweeps across the US and... I guess it mostly just misses inhabited areas, despite being fired a hundred years ago? ...or else hundreds/thousands of people have died and nobody mentioned it?

Is it me or was it EXTREMELY rude when Johnny ditches his date to go to the museum with Alicia?! What do you mean you have no plans?! You are literally in the middle of 'plans' you giant douchebag! And it is a museum, not some exclusive or private event, invite her along! I was much more upset by his behaviour than anything Terminus did, haha.

Good issue...took off a star for shoddy art in the middle.

Early models of Google Translate were primitive, but weirdly inclusive.

Farewell, Sharon. We hardly knew ye...

Terminus sounds so familiar... I can't place my finger on it though. Maybe from Agents of SHIELD?

I wondered how the writers suddenly could write comprehensible science talk until I noticed the Larry Niven advising credit. Probably won't last then, back to gravity shadows and magnetic magic I guess.

There were quotes around the term "civilized". I think he was referring ironically to how the Native Americans were seen as uncivilized.
