Why am I biased towards stories with Galactus? This issue probably doesn't deserve 4*, but for some reason I felt compelled to rate it highly. Maybe I'm just in a good mood today.

It's a weird angle, that's why, but it still works somehow...

  Full page Galactus looks awesome

reed's ideas get stupid eventually like in this one where they switch foes

Good issue. Galactus is awesome. In a universe full of embarrassing character names, Leap-Frog, Stilt-Man, Plantman all come to mind, Galactus just sounds so badass.

Haha, Galactus totally called the FF's bluff: "We'll never tell you where the Sufer is!" *Galactus throws a planet at earth* "We'll tell you where the Surfer is!"

Galactus don't like to be messed with. Ben & the boys have everything thrown at them but the kitchen sink in this one.

Torch looks incredibly disturbing on page 5,like a man you has been flayed alive. Thank you for that nightmare fuel.
Item 359 that Stan does not understand the workings of: Molecules. The atoms don't actually have rods sticking them together, that's just the only way the models can get them to do so.
Thought wave have an infinite range? Infinitely small maybe Mr. Science Guy...360.
And next issue we're going to super-small land again. I know we all complain about the bunch of different aliens and such, but it seems like there are just as many races under the Earth, or hidden reeeeally really small all around us. Makes you afraid to take a step.

I was tempted to knock off a star for just giving up a couple panels of the microverse. Still, loved this issue. Galactus makes everything better, especially when he's pant-less.

4 stars for Galactus messing with an ant hill!!!

Cover Me - I love the look Galactus is giving the Silver Surfer!

?Question? - I thought the Comics Code wouldn't let publishers use the word "Zombie" during this time period. Is it because Ben said "Space Zombie"?? (p2,p1)

Splash - I guess Galactus took the meaning of "Pin-Up" to heart since he went sans pants like others have said!!!

Cowabunga - Thing's doppelganger looks like a evil orange ninja turtle!!!

Credit Due - @duncanm: That's all Kirby on the look of Microverse!

The More You Know - Thanks Thing, I had to look up Halavah!

'Nuff Said - "But, is it not ordained that Galactus must never starve?"-Galactus

This was OK. A lot of fighting.
I love seeing Galactus get involved and his interactions.

One of the best FF issues so far

Not a big fan of Galactus in just a tunic. Reminds me of that silly unisex tunic they had some crew members wear on the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I dunno... I liked the artwork and all, but story-wise this seemed a bit like filler to me. It was almost like Stan thought "let's delay the introduction of the microverse as long as possible... Like maybe until next issue." D'oh!

  GroovyGolem Says:

Also, with a ship like that (see Pg14/P3 of last ish), you just knew it would have a "probe ray."

Just watch out for the Captain's log...

  Russ Says:

Galactus without pants again? Hey, cut the big guy some slack! He's hungry and losing weight; they don't fit him anymore!

The Surfer in the microverse. Reed should've thought of this before; he gets to ride the spaceways between atoms and molecules; there doesn't seem to be any difference, does there?

It's going to be harder to keep secrets from Sue as her time gets closer. From Johnny's life-or-death fight with the Punisher last issue, to the flying rock over New York, and she's already getting fidgety about post-partum superheroing.

4 stars, mainly because the stakes are always high anytime Galactus is involved.
