Oh no, they are sticking with it. I was hoping it was just a one-shot in the last issue but they are keeping Hawkeye turned to Goliath for some time to come.

Egghead, the guy who tried to use flypaper to catch Ant-Man, has a space station?

Well I quite enjoyed that arc, felt like the first real multi title crossover.

'New' Goliath made a little part of me die inside....... You are Hawkeye.... you didn't seem to have a problem with it up till now, your girl had no problem with it, your both in that "superhero without being a superhero' group but your into each other so who cares..... you guys are ok how you are..... and then all of a sudden you got a complex?? did you not see what happened to Hank???

First issue where we get Hawkeye's name. Great story and finish to this arc.

"at least he warned the city so no one was injured" Stuff like this is really starting to bother me, most of the "evil" villains are super tame.

I hate that Hawkeye is now Goliath, but other than that this was a great issue. Bring on more Egghead action!

I loved the image of the robots cuddling on the bottom of page 14.

In seriousness, this was a great ending to a solid crossover arc. Who knew you could get decent stories out of the Mad Thinker, Pupper Master, and Egghead? The secret seems to be ignore the villains and have the heroes do interesting things.

3 stars for the Avengers getting egg on their face in space!!!

Cover Me - So, who's holding the Avengers? Captain Universe, perhaps!??

Spread 'Em - Great scene of Eggy's eggsquisite ray of death destroying the city!!

Ambition - It seems like the Avengers aren't even trying. Why not contact Stark, Reed, or SHIELD to help find and get to Eggy's Space Station? They had no problem getting to the Mandarin's Space Station way back in Avengers Annual #1!!!

Lingo - Uhhh...Hawkeye called Barney jailbait...

Eggstreme - Those are some creepy robots that Eggy is using!

Suspense - @AmazingGatorMan: It only took five years to finally get his name!!!

'Nuff Said - "A-AVENGERS! Make him let me G-GO!!"-Barney Barton

And Hank Pym maintains his main character trait of being a***as he lets Hawkeye use the stuff that contributed to Hank's recent schizophrenia. Seriously, what does Jan see in this guy?

Hawkeye is permanently Goliath now, the Terrible Triumvirate is defeated, and the story arc ended up being mostly underwhelming.

But did anyone notice the sneaky way a bit of history was made? A multiple-issue arc over three books; you might call this a pre-cursor to the company-wide event that spawned such classics as Secret Wars, House of M, Secret Invasion, and other similar storylines. I know there were a couple of stories that crossed from one book to another. And sure, the execution of this arc left a lot to be desired, but again we witness the seeds of the future.

And we get a little more background on Hawkoliath. I think I get a bit of what makes him tick; he's lived under the shadow of bullies like Barney and the Swordsman, and that's enough to make anyone either super-intimidated, or acting out always trying to prove themselves. Hawkoliath is clearly the latter; he's been fighting to get out of the shadows of people around him. No wonder he and Cap were at odds back when he first joined the Avengers. And it explains why he was so eager to switch identities; he felt truly lost and superfluous on more levels than we immediately saw the minute his bowstring snapped in issue #63.

3 stars. This multi-title arc may not have produced any decent stories, but it did open up a Pandora's Box of possibilities.

Saw the twist at the end coming given what I already knew of Hawkeye but that didn't stop me enjoying it any less. Probably the only part of the comic I enjoyed actually.
This Egghead, Mad Thinker and Puppet Master arc has been truly dreadful; incoherent and all over the place so I'm glad that it appears to have come to some sort of end.
Also... did anyone else think those two robots on page 14 were interrupted mid-cuddle? Certainly looked like it to me!

I must be losing it in my old age... until the last page I didn't even make the connection that Clint and Barney shared the same last name. D'oh!

I liked Russ' character analysis of Hawkoliath. As much as I hate the concept, It makes sense.

It's interesting how many different robots have been built by Marvel's villains so far in the Order, with varying levels of sophistication and AI. I dare say some even show emotions. Think of the money they could have made had they just gone legit.

In my opinion, these issues were neither good nor bad. They exist, I whiled away a bit of time. Good enough.

I am disappointed that Hawkeye would give up the bow. Personally, I think an archer is much cooler than a guy who can change his size.
