Itís a bit long-winded, but thereís no denying that this is a genuinely fresh take on CM. And an exciting comic. The hero has a very difficult task, and the odds are against him. Dependable ingredients in any story. Very interested in seeing where this leads. 8/10

Not bad, better than the past few issues. Let's see where it goes.

That gets two stars just for the crazy trippy art, but the story was otherwise almost indecipherable.

What the hell did I just read? Since when could you get high off comic books?

May the peace of The Lord... I mean May the peace of the Zo be always with you.

"And also with you"

Why does an omnipotent being need help with anything? The entire plot starts on a fallacy.

I loved the art in this one. Captain Marvel works much better when he's not on earth.

Could this be the first LSD-inspired comic book? Or at least the first Marvel comic to talk about expanding your consciousness? I know Starlin was pretty into LSD, and Starlin and Mike Friedrich were roommates, so...

I love this book!! Best Captain Marvel so far. Finally getting to see the cosmic crazy dialogue and art. I don't know if the concept is driven by hallucinogenic forces (I hope so and Marvel writers were not beyond such mind expansion) but it drew me in with all the colors. Can't wait for Marvel's 70's cosmic stories as this is just a precursor.

This week on Captain Marvel - he goes to the legitimate Heaven and Hell.

Um, is Zo trying to prove that he is God?

2 stars. What does God need with a starship?

'Nuff Said - "Thus, the macabre mystery tour of the Kree warrior suddenly opens into what is not unlike an Earthian cornucopia..."-Narrator

Unconsciousness isn't trust, Mar-Vell. If you think it is, you have serious problems.

I just finished reading this issue, and I feel as though I just smoked something illicit! This story....was a trip in more ways than one. Maybe this is an early attempt at the really cosmic Marvel that'll gain steam in the '70's.

I really can't say where this one's going. This Zo seems determined to blow up whatever it is, but if he's so powerful, why does he even need Mar-Vell in the first place? I suspect an underlying agenda here, but I don't really care for the way it's being set up.

2 stars. Well, let's see where it goes.

"It is not for mortals to question the will of Zo! I have my reasons and they are, as always, just ones! In time, they will be made clear to you . . . but for now, you will rivet your attention to what next appears before you."

Blanket statement: deities that don't explain anything are really annoying.

This had all the bad science of a 1963 Torch story, with all the overblown pseudo-philosophy of a 1969 Surfer story.

This was a very difficult read.
