Lucifer?

He's so one-sided - so plain - and with a decent name - but the character created was just SO very dull. Nothing really long-term in this guy. Just a desire to be - the Hulk version of SMASH - or the Leader, perhaps.

The story is equally bad, too? Tony saving a washed up football hero - so possessed by his own losses - that he now embraced being possessed by Lucifer.

But of course, he's saved by his tearful wife - and that brings Tony around to wonder... Can he become a man - instead of Iron Man?

This one felt like going back in time - in the worst way.

  A third-rate X-Men villain doesn't improve just because he's in Iron Man.

It's pretty bad when the best villain you can get for a comic is some petty jerk.

Welcome back to the early 60s and the horrible one shot stories :(

I hope Charlie gets a nice long prison sentence for all the property damage he knew he was causing. I also love that we still get to hear Iron Man whining "oh my heart!" ever since his operation. This guy's worse than Aunt May.

If its so late at night, why would Wilma assume that Stark was at his factory? Shouldn't he have been at home? Have we ever seen Tony at home?

Charlie Gray is a lesson - focus in school or else you will end up with little, and have less opportunities. Without the whole Lucifer thing, of course.

I don't think they worked very hard on this issue.

Just 1 star for the return of Lucifer...

Peaked - I know a lot of all star jocks from my old school who are like Charlie now...

Yeah wait he's gonna just let him walk on? Didn't he kill a bunch of people by smashing that building and blasting those cops? His wife described him as a murderer afterwards. Never mind the property destruction.

I wonder how well "I was being controlled by someone locked in another dimension" would stand up in court. Oh look, Daredevil's next, perfect time to find out.

Iron Man had just had a good run with the Midas/Madame Masque arc. This one was pretty brutal. I mean, how many people in college football shun a player just because his grades are bad?

1 star. If you had to pick an old X-Men villain? Why couldn't it have been the Sentinels? That one could be fun.

Sadly, this thought process is not uncommon. Seeing only the bad things in life, not the good.

Anyone else think of a turnip when they see Lucifer's helmet?

It was pretty cheesy, but I liked it anyway.
