I bought the digital version, so I didn't see any deleted scenes.

I have the Blu-Ray disc (got it last Friday for my birthday), but our Blu-Ray player is dead, and I can only watch the DVD right now. Where can I see the Cap deleted scene? I've seen the opening deleted scene, but that's it. Again, I own the thing, but I can't play it. Any help?

I've only seen the alternate opening and ending and the Captain America stuff. The former was horrible, it killed the entire mood of the film and would have really hurt it IMHO. The Cap stuff was fantastic, but I can see why they cut it. After all they'll need material like that for the next Captain America movie.

Anyone around here seen the deleted scenes from The Avengers? What are your opinions? Were they worth being included in the movie? I really liked the part with Maria Hill's interrogation, that should've been included.

Seen it twice until now and I must say that it's the best Marvel movie ever. First time was at the cinema and me and my friends were the only ones who were waiting for the credits to end in order to see the 'bonus' parts.

Watched it yesterday for the third time. Still great. There are some observations/questions I'm gonna just throw here into the room:
SPOILER
- Did notice for the first time that nice idea with Cap America being handed out a paper file, while Stark's getting his mission file digitally - I wonder if 'Phase 2' on the S.H.I.E.L.D. program is a meta-reference to the new Marvel-movies franchise - One weak part of the script: Black Widow asking if she should close the portal. I don't understand why she would ask such a thing, since she doesn't know about the missile heading to the city. It's like asking 'Okay, should I end this war or not?'. Or did I miss something here? - It's the best Hulk ever. On one side, Mark Ruffalo does an outstanding job in building up tension not letting the Hulk take over. On the other side, it's really good CGI and I like the early parts with the Hulk unleashed and the film suddenly has aspects of an horror-monster-movie. - I hope they don't promised too much with showing Thanos. He has to be in the next movie or else this would be a hell of a dissapointing cliffhanger.

People just fall out of touch with real life so easily, I wanted to ask one of my bosses the last time he clipped a coupon (I never do, eff it) or microwaved a delicious bowl of ramen noodles. I did that yesterday.

Many in hollywood have lived to long in the star bubble. You hear about how tough doing this movie or that was, and I think...The dude that lives next door to me works in the sewers doing repairs. His job (12 hour shift in and out of sewers) is hard. Nurses jobs with blood and body functions and bedpans and life or death actions, is hard. A marine getting shot at is hard. I work at a computer and an actor has catering and their own trailer to take naps in, and stand ins for long periods of their day. Our jobs, not so hard.

Did you see the Rihanna statements about how hard it was for her to be in that movie, what a new soul wrenching challenge it was? She is great at what she does, being a hot hip hop artist and hook girl, but come on. What if she had been in a real movie? Honestly, it's not worth linking to.

I think it can be pre-judge. Its based on a boardgame. and not a deep boardgame.
Until I saw an actual trailer, I was convinced this was just one long, elaborate hoax. I mean, no one out spend millions of dollars to make a movie version of Battleship would they. Would they?
