My Top 10 of the 80s

1. Back to the Future
2. The Empire Strikes Back
3. Raiders of the Lost Ark
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Batman
6. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
7. Spaceballs
8. Pink Floyd's the Wall
9. Ferris Beuller’s Day Off
10. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Although I'm not that a fan of Star Wars and still haven't seen The Wall yet, this is a strong list. I'm missing Highlander and Terminator on this one.

@Kez: The Shining...I dunno. It would probably be my #1 of all named movies in this thread, but I don't associate that film with the 80's and thus wouldn't place it on such a list. Kubrick was out of time.

Young Frankenstein is a fantastic movie, I think that is his best work.

For 80s movies.. I would have to go with Raiders of the Lost Ark, Blade Runner, Terminator, The Shining, Scarface and Back to the Future.

Preach.

I'm going to have to give some thought to my top 80s movies.

Return of the Jedi at 4? Really? Above ST II.

Also, completely off topic, but seeing spaceballs it makes me thing. While that move gets more popular appeal of Brooks movies, I have always felt Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstien were his best works.
