I didn't realize he did monster squad. That movie is awsome, just cause "You kicked Wolfman in the Nards."

Well Shane Black is primarily an action movie writer, though some of the finished products from his scripts haven't been that great his writing still gets high praise. He also wrote Monster Squad, so he can never fail in my book.

That is a good point. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was excellent....although, not really an action movie. Will this hurt Iron Man?

Well seeing as how Vanko was a mash-up of Whiplash and Dynamo I think the later is out. Madarin done right is the direction they should go, cause like Reed...only so many times you can do dudes fighting dudes in armor. I do have faith in Black though, man is a solid action writer and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with Downey was awesome.

I think Ghost would have been better fit for the first film, if any. I'd rather see a villain that would pose a threat on a bigger scale. Stealth isn't really a good direction for this movie in my opinion. And The Ghost isn't really a villain villain, y'know?
