Not surprising....That kinda of business hypocrisy is pretty common.

Yeah, this has been going on since right after the issues came out I think. McFarlane took the "work for hire" position I think, which is hilarious since that was the main reason he and others bolted the big two and created Image.

I hadn't heard of this before, but apparently there has been a fued between Neil Gaimen and Todd McFarlane over Spawn ownership going for more then a decade. They ended with agreeing on Gaimen having 50% ownership to several issues of Spawn and Angela (some of which include character first appearances, so its those characters too).

My kneejerk reaction is to side with Gaimen...but thats just cause I like the guy and find McFarlane to be kinda tool.
