I wonder if they have had any graduates actually get into the industry.

I've never thought there was specific schooling for comic creators. I always thought you just go to an art school and if you choose drawing/making comics as your profession, then cool.

I checked out the website for the Center for Cartoon Studies, and if nothing else, it would certainly be a fun thing to do if a person had a real interest. I say go for it!

I don't think there are any courses to get you into the comic industry. If you are a good writer or artist, keep doing spec work and trying to either self produce or get with a smaller label and build a name, or get your stuff in front of one of the big houses and hope you get lucky.

There are a lot of people who want to break into the industry, so competition is pretty stiff.

If somebody wanted to really learn the ins and outs of creating comics, are there any programs that you know of that are available to learn the craft? The one that I know about is the Center for Cartoon Studies (CSS). Ever hear of it?
