The first few Wolverine stories are ok, even good. Of course the pinnacle story being the Weapon X origin, before all falling to sheer crap thereafter. This book enjoyed the height of the comic boom popularity, where all you had to do to survive was slap a popular character on the cover and call it a day.

Those are before the point they turned into utter shit, in my humble opinion. The first ones were good, and though I had many issues with Black Shadow, it had some good moments, especially in the beginning.

I liked most of the wolverine stories in MCP. I thought save the tiger was good and black shadow white shadow was not bad.

Having skimmed over most of those stories to get them in the order, they generally all seem kind of poorly done. I am not particularly looking forward to this title.

I just need to get off my chest the fact that Marvel Comics Presents has most of the worst Wolverine stories I've ever read. And it was supposed to carry the title o.O
