yea, Its hard not to want to read an single series (I mean one that doesn't tie off into other series) in large chunks. Its like waiting to watch a whole season of a show in a sitting. Better that way (for me at least).

One of the things I really like about the book is the weird humor and crazy violence next to the cartoony nature of the characters.

I've read just a couple issues after it was released. What I really liked was the range of humour. Detailed violence, but the again, a cast of characters that could show up in a kid's cartoon. I put that on hold, because I hate to wait several weeks for a next issue. Nothing better than reading back-to-back.

I am further into this series now, and honestly, it has just gotten weird. Which is saying something considering the place it started at.

The art is the one thing I have problems with, I am not crazy about the choices they make. But, the story is interesting enough, and yes pretty fucking sinister, that I don't care. I still like it.

I'm pretty far into Chew. Really enjoy it. The art style is unusual, but it definitely grew on me. The concept is very original (As far as I know), and at times it gets pretty fucking sinister.. but somehow also manages to remain lighthearted and funny. Albeit in a dark way. =P

Also, Poyo.

I just picked up the first issue of this and read it. The whole "ban on poultry" thing and illegal fried chicken took me by surprise.

Still, interesting concept, and the first issue was pretty good.
