I see, thanks for clarification (gee, excuse my way of expression, don't sound THAT formal in german...getting the hang of expressing me ultra-eloquent around here...I love english!).

Not really. They tend to have several very bland titles and others very formulaic. One of their principles, a really nice guy, has tastes that run on par with 90s marvel, which generally isn't a positive. They also put a lot of stock into whether a title would be able to be sold to hollywood as a metric for publishing it, which generally generates bad results.
Atomic Robo is their only success as a comic at the moment and the only one I particularly like.

Thanks for your recomendations. I've read the first volume and liked it very much. Humor is great and remains unpredictable so far. The simplistic look works great with all the weird dialogues, although I'm not always satisfied with some of the backgrounds (they sometimes tend to look cheap/lazy). I hope the story gets some depth over time (because of the large life-span of Robo I could imagine some cool twists altering the purpose of existing like they did with Invincible).
By the way: Never heard of Red 5 Comics before. Other titles any good?

I'm with you Jayden. Not familiar with Atomic Robo. After a little research, he looks pretty interesting. Here's a good site that explains a little about the issues. http://www.atomic-robo.com/

I haven't read Atomic Robo but I was looking for something new. I guess I will go check out the free issue and see if I want to buy the other ones.

Cool. The Kickstarter campaign has ended, but they succeeded funding the project. I think it ended up being something like 300% funded. Tells you how popular AR is. The website states that it will be a animated "short" written by Clevenger and a guy at The Fictory.
Since they exceeded their funding goal, I think they're doing some other AR related stuff like a Dr. Dinosaur iPhone game and stuff like that.

I read the trades, the free one-shots, the Real Science Adventures. All of it.
Is the same guy writing the movie? If so I will go donate right now..That guy is a genius.

Yeah, I can never get enough Atomic Robo. What exactly were you reading? Trade's? If you haven't already, go to their website. They have free one-shot's, Free Comic Book day issues and stuff you can read. "Yonkers Devil" is particularly amusing.
I assume as well that you know there is a new series they're in the midst of right now called "Atomic Robo: Real Science Adventures". I think it's only going to be a 4 or 5 issue run, can't remember for sure. They're up to #3 so far, I think. I will caution you that it's separate from the main series and isn't nearly as good, but will nevertheless quench your Atomic Robo thirst.
Oh yeah, one last thing. They're doing an animated AR movie! They did a Kickstarter campaign to get it funded. (I happily donated, of course.) It's going to be called Atomic Robo: Last Stop. Some guys at an animation company called The Fictory are doing it.

Just finished all the Atomic Robo comics available. Damn, I wish there were more. I could read hundreds of those.
