Stan actually brings this up in a note where he is talking about upcoming plans (I don't remember where, but I know I posted it up in the forums) where he is planning Dr. Strange and says "I know we had a guy named this before, I hope our readers don't get confused" (paraphrasing)

Yeah the first "Dr. Strange" that fought the FF was not the Dr. Strange. Stephen Strange was a good guy from the start.

Just skipping ahead on the comic book order and reading some synopsis seems to day dr strange went bad-good as his first appearance seems to be as a villan. Interested o find out if that's the case because I liked him in the bits ive read in the past.

My vote goes to transformers jetfire/skyfire (changed name due to licensing issues). Mainly or nostalgia reasons, but also because I like the character in the second film which I was watching earlier today and it reminded me.

I think a lot of people confuse the antihero with villains that make a heel turn.

Joe Fixit is regularly described as "morally ambiguous". Basically he was a bit of a jackass, but overall his heart was in the right place. He was much more an antihero than a bad guy. He'd still go out of his way to save people in trouble and stuff.

I can see where Hulk could be considered bad at times. Seriously there was a time when he was unpredictable (dangerous). I guess people would see him as "bad" just not as bad as a lot of others!

Hulk originally equals morally neutral character that just wants the puny humans to leave him alone, that's what we're saying, right? Then he eventually becomes a grudging force for good, but that's still pretty inadvertent b/c he's just as likely to smash Goldenhair or whomever is on his team as the bad guys. Later full fledged good guy and by the time we get to, say, World War Hulk, morality is pretty much all shades of gray between Hulk and the Earth heroes who exiled him. Any holes in my wrap up, guys? Is Hulk as force of nature pretty much outside normal definitions of morality?

*Not that familiar with it, but wasn't the Joe Fixit persona kinda criminal/anti-heroish?

I don't think that counts. Hulk wasn't generally a bad guy, not really. I wouldn't consider he ever made a "turn"
