I thought it was a bit odd that Obama was even on The View. I do think the ladies asked him to get a rise out of him. Heck things happen around me that I know nothing of. You learn new crap daily on blogs and chat forums. Gotta love technology!

There is the theory that the stuff is around you already, but you don't really pay attention to it, until something like a message board thread or article makes you notice it, and then you actually start noticing it.

Who gives a shit what the fucking president thinks about erotic fiction. He's supposed to be running a goddamn country! This book is selling very well in the UK, from what I can tell. I currently work part time in a supermarket and I see at least a few copies of these books go through my checkout every day. Always women. =P I literally wouldn't know anything about it without having read this thread. It's funny, I see threads about the latest popular stuff on here and then a few days later I start hearing about it more and more. It's like the UK has a couple days lag picking up the latest hype from the states. =P

There is no way I would ever give anyone these books as gifts. My cousin (freakishly religious) is reading them now. Surprised the crap out of me when she told me.

I am not really into erotic fiction myself but I know a few people that have this on their wish list, namely my sister in law. For me it would be a weird gift to give to someone else. I am sure a ton of thought went into it seeing as its more than one book but its just not for me.

Certainly not a Danielle Steele series! I believe there might be another book coming out after book 3 (Fifty Shades Freed). Why not right? Author has made a crap load of money off first 3 - she would be crazy to stop.

I've heard of the book and all I've heard is chick porn. Is there more to the story-line than that? I really have no interest in something like a Danielle Steel novel, but everyone keeps talking about this series.

It certainly is not something that should be read in school - it's way too erotic! Heck like I said, I blush when I read it. I talked to a lady that works in a Barnes and Noble and she said it's little old ladies that keep asking for it. How crazy is that.
