You guys ever seen The Mist? There's a woman locked in the store with them who is the single most antagonistic character I have ever experienced in movies. When she got one between the eyes, I initiated applause in the cinema and everyone joined in. The movie itself is distinctly average, but I literally cannot think of any other character I have despised as passionately as her.

Yeah, to fair I may be selling it a bit short saying it's distinctly average. I actually enjoyed it a lot the first watching, second time I didn't like it so much. Some stuff about the ending annoys me, cause it kinda misrepresented the original message at the end of the book.. but yeah, it's entirely worth a watch.

I have also seen the movie, but it has been a long long time ago. I don't exactly remember the woman you are referring to. Is it the one who always talked about monsters, Satan, and the like?

Yeah, that's her.

Honestly I can't remember what she did exactly, but my burning dislike of her has stayed with me to this day.

I've watched that film at least six times so far. I gave it a 10/10 after the first viewing. The ending is just god-like, I'm speechless every time I'm watching this. Don't care for the book, though. I don't like King as a writer, but his ideas made good movies. Okay, more or less, but I can enjoy even the crappy ones (which would be the majority).

The evil bitch we're talking about agitates the sheltered people to a point where they are willing to 'sacrifice' sinners, meaning killing people she doesn't like. She would be a perfect match for the Hate-Monger.
