I am almost certain jfpj191 is being funny...and doing an excellent job staying in character.

buuuuut, I have to say I kind of liked Sahara, reign of Fire, and U-571. Sure the others you listed sucked, but I liked those three movies.

Hmm. You seem strongly convinced. You just bought me.
But seriously: I could really like U-571 if it wasn't so fucking historically inacurate. I understand some minor changes, but that movie is just one big lie. That i just cannot buy.

Yes, well, true. The history of that movie is just about the worst ever.

"This is a true story, it just didn't actually happen anything like this."

EDIT: Although, as we're talking about the quality of the performance of a certain actor rather than the quality of the movie, I can't really hold this one against Matthew Mchonahaaay as I don't even remember him being in it.

At this point I'm not talking about quality of the performance. At this point I'm against "matthew only in good movies"

Yes, He has been in some amazingly bad movies, and he has been amazingly bad in some movies.

Wedding Planner and Fools Gold....two giant steaming piles.

He's not an actor, he's a character. People like him in movies because they like *him*. He's the same in every role. That's not good acting though...

We have that kind of "character" here, in Poland. His name is Filip Bobek, which might be translated as Philip MouseShit. Nuff said!

Well, Reign of Fire not withstanding, everything I've seen of his has been good. Even Surfer Dude was good.
