So apparently he's going to write and direct Avengers 2. Score!
He's also doing a marvel tv series. I don't know in what capacity, though.

I've always thought it would be awesome if he did a post trilogy Star Wars saga loosely based off of some of the books. He'd be perfect, he loves female characters and would have fun developing Mara Jade's character.. Plus he'd direct a way better SW than Lucas.

I heard about a week or so ago that ABC (owned by Disney, I believe) was considering running a TV drama that was set in the MCU, like a police drama that just so happened to include elements of the MCU, or something similar, but not actually based on a comic book. With Whedon being involved, though, I think we could be looking at something much, much bigger.

Is this going to be the AKA Jessica Jones. That sounds not far off the Alias comic series (different then the Alias tv show). I know they had been talking about the jessica jones show for a while.

I vaguely remember hearing something about that, but I don't know enough to accurately give out info on the Jessica Jones thing.

It is my understanding that he might either do a series either based on the Hulk or SHIELD, either one i will be content with.

A spy type show or procedural featuring SHIELD would be amazing.

I think I'd be more excited if he were returning to comics proper. His run on Astonishing X-Men, while being one of my favorite runs in comics, is the only thing he's done that I absolutely adore.
He is uncanny (ha!) at creating cult followings so I'm sure whatever he does will at least be interesting.
