Venture Bros I really need to check out properly. Saw one episode ages back and laughed my pants off.

Venture Bros is pretty awesome.
Actually, I like DOOM's whole list.
ATHF is just okay.
Add Metalocalypse.

They are hit and miss. The more modern stuff is pretty good, the stuff from the 90s is really pretty bad.

I never really watched a Marvel animated, so I'm curious. I like a lot of stuff from DC, like Batman TAS, ..of the Future and many of their animated feature films. So I was thinking about watching a tv-show form Marvel. I think not back-to-back, but as a filler between two movies or when I'm not really sure what to watch.

I read a lot of praise about that MTV-Spider-Man, but I looked it up on youtube and these plain 3D-backgrounds turned me off. On the imdb message boards there also people bashing this newer show and are rooting for the 90's version. So I'm not really sure...there's a lot to choose of:

I haven't watched Ultimate Spider-Man yet, but Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes is pretty good, as is Wolverine and the X-Men.

Penguins of Madagascar is a good modern kids show. plus kids don't have to watch just kids shows I think there are many shows you can enjoy no matter what you're age as long as you're old enough to understand what's going on.

When it comes to cartoon, I was talking to my 10 year old yesterday about the Cartoons he watches. We don't have cable, since all of our stuff is digital, so I control what cartoons are available to him.

He was saying when his friends talk about their cartoons, they are never as good as the stuff he watches. He wanted to know why they don't make great cartoons like the Pink Panther and Looney Toons any more.

I passionately agree that cartoons today suck. I was an avid toonami and anime fan, but I also at little less than half of normal cartoons that I enjoyed watching. I would say that sometime after I turn 16 the cartoon world started to decline drastically, and it wasn't because I was "growing up". Now, almost 100% of what I watch is anime related.

The cartoons shown today are kid of crap. And ugly... as in ugly characters and so on. When I feel nostalgic about the good times, I watch Boomerang, where they still show some of the old school Cartoons.
