That is not exactly how I understood it after I first used "he" quoting Alex...

But OK. Let's just assume I understand it...
It really only matters here. We don't have 3rd person "They" in polish language...

"He" and "she" are the appropriate pronouns for people and fictional characters who identify as male or female, respectively. I can't imagine Thanos's gender identity has specifically come up in the comics or will do so in the movies, but other characters seem to consistently refer to Thanos with male pronouns, and so it's no problem to assume Thanos is a he.

I, however, do not identify as female or male -- in my case, I'm non-binary, outside of the gender binary, though other people may use other words to communicate similar feelings -- and as such should be referred to with language that does not directly or indirectly assign one of those two genders to me, because that would be exactly as inaccurate as calling a woman "he". In English, the easiest way to do this is whenever you want to say "he" or "she," to use singular they instead, though just saying my name instead of a pronoun is good, too.

I'm not getting my hopes up until there is concrete proof of the deal.

I think I saw somewhere that Hugh Jackman would return to the role of Wolverine if he was brought into the MCU.

That's the option I always go with, because it is simply the easiest. As for Thanos, behind being referred to as a "he", I think the word "brother" is thrown around a lot in reference to him....at least I seem to remember that. I don't think there's any confusion in his gender (In the movie I believe he was also referred to as a he by one of the chitauri priest people), at least, it never seemed to be questioned by anyone at any point.

Yea, I saw that, but everything I've seen was basically "this deal has been announced", and is otherwise SUPER light on details. I think one of the main things they would buy it for would be to get the Marvel rights back, seeing as how Marvel is a huge cash cow for Disney at the moment. The implications, if it's true, are huge. I mean, X-Men coming in would mean a lot for the world, as would FF. Opens a lot of doors, not the least of which would be AvX.

But at this point it's all 100% speculation.

Yeah, obviously there is nothing confirmed, but some really precise details are coming out like an announcement just before Christmas or that the deal is reportedly around 74 billions. I always take this rumors with a grain of salt, but having Feige and Schunner Donner chiming in is something for me that strenghtens those rumors.

Oh I dont think Disney are not just trying to buy Fox just for some crucial Marvel properties - that would be a bit overkill considering all the things they would be buying besides stuff like X-men.

Yeah, I imagine the Marvel rights are a happy coincidence that certain parts of Disney are very happy about, but they're almost certainly not what the Big Men In Suits are even talking about with regards this deal.
