Anyone who had seen Daredevil knows it's all about choreography of fights. They have to be smooth, with as long shots as possible.

With Jones I have a feeling he was shot like a puppet.
Move a hand. CUT. tighten your fist CUT move a leg. Different camera angle. Kick. CUT

and so on and on.

Like he couldn't rememebr the choreography or was unable to repeat what was shown to him

This is something I cannot easily deal with with tv series about master of martial arts...

But that's kinda my point. In Daredevil, it's not Charlie Cox doing the fight scenes, it's trained professionals. They expected Jones to be able to do fight scenes like trained professionals do, and it's unreasonable.

But all they had to do is give Iron Fist a mask, like he has in the comics. Then, you can get a trained professional to do all those fight scenes, and it would've been much better.

Yeah, but You see: when I started writing I could only see like first part of Your post posted
I was happy to see You think similar, but that only happened after I finished writing...

But totally agree: Iron Fist also wears a mask in comic.
They could easily replace Jones with professionals

Yeah, I don't think Finn Jones is bad at playing this show's version of Danny Rand at all -- he pulls off "doofy emotionally stunted dimwit" as well as anyone -- but yeesh, those fight scenes are a real slog, he's not remotely a good action performer.

Just to bring up something good about the show, I really liked the guy doing drunken style martial arts. I don't remember what his purpose was, but he was cool.

But as a great "Silk" TV Series fan I was just mesmerized by Coleen.

To bad there was so little of her in Defenders...

Coleen was the best part of Iron Fist; from character development, acting, and choreography. I really hope she sticks around. I believed her character far more than I did Danny's.

That was one of the better fight scenes of the show.
