Whoa! Ran across this piece of doo-doo following links on another comic book site.

God awful! I remember seeing ads for these back when I was reading '66. I noticed the ads suddenly stopped. I see why.

I looked into that series a couple of weeks ago and I pondered to myself "They make fun of the animation on Spider-man 67 and not this?"

When I think old marvel animation, I usually go with Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends. I still enjoy that. The rest of marvel animated from back in the day is garbage though.

Aww, come on now you know without seeing images like this from the past we can not appreciate the amazing ads we have now. If you really want a kick compare some of the amazing websites we have now compared to the cruddy images from the 90's (like the dancing banana man). :)

Technology changes, I wanna give these guys credit. I imagine they were doing the best they could. But "billionaire and sportsman" Tony Stark? Is that a soft '60s euphemism for manwhore?

The following link to dancing banana man is for archival purposes only. Reed Richards does not actually suggest you click on it.

Oh my! And after watching it you gather your friends into a fan club to play superheroes vs super villains, and write Stan some letters too, and I'm sure these kids were actually happy with that!!

Holy shit. I used to watch this.

When the intro came on, I swear I was like teleported back 20 years in my head. This just brought back some memories that were long buried. Man, that's weird.
