Can you think of anyone who would be better at portraying Iron Man than Robert Downey Jr? I keep trying to think of someone but he is so firmly in that role for me that I cannot.

I like him as Iron Man, but I especially liked him as Sherlock Holmes. He brings a certain air of mystery to the Holmes role that just enhances the character. Don't you think?

Downey is great as Iron Man. I have been spoiled by the show Sherlock, so for me he falls short there.

Do you mean the benedict cumberbach version? Because that is utterly awesome. However Robert plays a very different interpretation of the character so is very difficult to compare.

As iron man, basically, I cant think of anyone else, same as I can't think of anyone else being fury.

Downey is excellent as Iron Man. Then again, he is great in portraying characters in most of his movies. Anyway, I kind of think that Hugh Jackman would be great as Iron Man. I don't know....
