What eReader do you use?

I have the kindle which is really decent, and it's under £100! It's great for on the go and the battery lasts for days!

Not a fan of the kindle. Hate being locked into an ecosystem (says the guy who buys apple movies and tv shows...ok, a bit hypocritical). I buy many ebooks off of Barnes & Nobel, and rip the DRM to have it able to go on any device. I used to use only the Sony ereader, which I love, but recently have started to use my android device a lot. The Moon Reader + app is a really good ereader app that interfaces well with caliber (The best ebook management software I have found).

I've got a Kindle. Really great piece of kit, I think I've probably read more books in the last year and a bit since I got it than in the past 4 or 5 combined. Fantastic for the bus ride to and from work every day, and I only have to charge the thing about once a month. Love how easy it is to convert other files to the Kindle format too, means you're not locked in to buying only from Amazon and can read lots of free stuff from places like Project Gutenberg. Certainly one of the best technology purchases I've made in a while.

Yeah, I love my Kindle. It's not locked down at all, it can read anything you put onto it. The books you buy from Amazon will be, I believe, but you could still get them elsewhere and put them on the Kindle without difficulty.

I more meant any books you buy for the kindle you can't take off the device and use on non-kindle devices. If you decide to go away from the Amazing devices, you can't take what you bought with you.

Keep toying with idea of buying a Kindle but whilst friends have shown me theirs still not convinced it beats taking a good old fashioned book to bed, and couldn't take Kindle in the bath or pool....

I rather have physical books. Even if I have the money to buy E-readers, I'd rather spend it on real books.

I bought a Nook last year. Good stuff. My friend has a Kindle though. Not so different.

I see the argument for physical books. Even though I buy and read ebooks, I still buy physical books too. There is something to having a bookshelf full of books, and being able to pull one and start reading, that I love. Not sure if I will ever give up reading physical books. Though for travel, ebooks can't be beat.

You can learn a lot about a person by looking at their bookshelf so I definitely share that sentiment. With comics I'm almost strictly digital, but for novels I'm happy to pay a little extra for a hard copy.
