I will be attending Bloodstock Open Air this weekend, and for the first time they’ll be streaming the whole thing on the interwebs. So if you’re a huge metal fan and find yourself bored on the net this weekend, there are lots of top bands to watch kicking off at 11am each morning, and shutting down at 10:45 in the evening (times GMT + 1).

Livestream

They're already shutting down at 10:45 p.m.?? Or just the stream?

No, the bands end at 10:45. British live music legislation is shit. It's in a big field, 5 miles in any direction from the nearest settlement, but you still gotta shut the stages down before 11. Compare this to Wacken Open Air in Germany, which is actually in the village of Wacken (i.e. the arena fence by the second stage borders people's gardens) yet they still have bands going at 3am. But what can you do.

I hate rules like that. They have to stop baseball games in Chattanooga if they run past 11 and just call it a tie. Lame.
