This is true. I took piano lessons when I was younger and I can still play the two or three songs I memorized back then with just a little rust.

I have made attempts, though feeble, to learn how to play the bass. As a child I played the flute, got to love being forced to play the only instrument your family has.

I'm glad I wasn't forced when I took of band momentarily in middle school. All we had was an organ, which wouldn't work for band, and a clarinet. I don't think I could do clarinet. Y'know, the whole ridicule for a guy playing a "chick's" instrument, or at least what was considered one in sixth grade.

I'm able to play piano with a good intermediate level, also since I started to play in a band I learned to consistently play bass, some guitar and drums. And not intending to go over-the-top- but I don't sing that bad :P.

I have expectations to learn new instruments when I can afford them- some harp, flute, maybe cello, ocarina, whatever. I'm always up for new ways to make music.

I used to play the Trumpet to a pretty decent level, was in a few Jazz groups, but I just kinda stopped doing it some years ago. Thinking back, I can't even remember why. Doubt I could play a note anymore.

Yea, I played in high school, and tried to pick one up a few years ago. My embouchure was completely gone....could barely play a note.

Played trumpet for 8 years in school got my Grade 7 Royal Schools diploma. So quite masterful in that instrument. By the way it isn't just spit that you release from the instrument. It is 90% water from your breath condensing on the metal within the instrument.

Played bass in a high school band but didn't like it at all. Have been playing guitar on and off for years. Can play a couple of tunes but never took it seriously. I have been playing rudiments on my drum practice pad for 2 years now. I want to get my own kit but I have been moving around so much so I'm waiting until I've become more settled before making that venture. Really love the drums and will probably play it for many years to come :)

I play acoustic guitar, but I am not really good at it. I know some chords and all I can play on guitar are short and simple songs normally sung around the campfire.
