Does anyone still play World of Warcraft? I admit, I do. I'm too attached to my characters to give it up. Plus, Blizzard is coming out with Mists soon and they are redoing characters completely, which I'm really excited to see.

I have a couple of friends who still play WOW and I ask them all the time why they play. I watched them play a few times but I never really got into it. I don't like having to pay to play any game and I thought there was too much "chat" during the game instead of game play.

I still have the accounts but nothing is kept up to date, everything has been stuck on a shelf as "real life" took over more than gaming could keep up with. I also played a little SWTOR but then again, less time for game, needed more time to sleep.

I still need to play SWTOR...I just recently started playing COH again. Reading comics always makes me want to play that game.

I played for about 5 and a half years, cancelled my account in Feb last year, but quit playing a few weeks after Cataclysm came out. I'd long fallen out of love with the model back in BC (run dungeons for better gear so you can run heroics for better gear so you can run raids for better gear so you can run this new raid for better gear and BAM expansion pack, start again) and the only thing that kept me playing in WotLK was that the Scourge storyline goes against most of the Warcraft lore in that it's actually good, and I wanted to kill Arthas. So yeah, no interest in competing in the gear grind, can't take the PvP seriously since discovering EVE (can't take many games PvP seriously since discovering EVE), the only storyline element I liked all wrapped up, doubt I'll be going back for Pandas and Pokemon (my fiancee's in the beta, it looks really, really dumb). Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a really great game, it’s just for me WoW’s run its course and then some.

Too repetitive, too much of a timesink. I don't think I'll ever be able to play your default MMO (target, auto-attack, spam special moves) anymore than I plan on ever playing a standard JRPG (click between FIGHT, ITEM, RUN, etc) again.

I appreciated the Scourge storyline as well. I'm in the beta for Mists, too, and I think it looks pretty amazing. I'm excited to see it finished. I feel like Blizzard is listening to the players and bit more and giving us something completely new but still the same.

A friend sent me one of the "come back to play" emails the other week but I ended up giving up on it before I finished reading the email. I am starting to think that I might have some nerve damage in one hand so that lessens the chances I will be playing anything again after a visit to the doc. :(
