Who will be buying the Wii U when it comes out? I just read more information on the gamepad and console. It looks pretty cool – but not cool enough for me to run right out and grab one. You are supposed to be able to chat with others with the new Wii U. Leave notes/comments, etc. on the new system too. I can’t wait to see it – hope one of my friends buys it so I can check it out.

I've bought ever Nintendo consol since the nes and I've played each one gradually less and less.

I might pick one up in 2 years time when there a boat load of cheap games for it, but certainly not at the beginning.

I've checked it out and I won't be buying it anytime soon. I bought the Wii when it first came out and I hardly play it now. After all how many consoles do you need at your house? I also own a PS3.

I saw the controller for it and I'm glad Nintendo is going back to their roots with the controller. I wish it was still square instead of the weird curvey thing they have going on. The controller isn't enough for me to buy it, though.

Bought a Wii, it's great for parties, but not much else. For single player games, in terms of immersion it's the worst thing that anyone has ever thought up. I will certainly not be getting one of these.

I think Nintendo shot themselves in the foot last year revealing the Wii U and waiting about 18+ months before actually releasing the system. This year Microsoft is taking what Nintendo did with controller and expanding it to tablets and smart phones.

Once you play with the Kinect, its hard to go back. Handheld thing dosen't compare to 3d camera.

I did watch the Nintendo presentation and what they are doing for the zombie game looked pretty cool with how you would use the controller. I don't think the system will even be available this year since they said nothing about a release date.

When I had a go with a Kinect I was almost longing to get the Nintendo flailing stick of doom in my hands again. I just don’t get the motion control thing at all (other than the hilarity of watching other people use it).

I saw more on the Wii U too yesterday - they showed games. I almost think I might buy it now if the price isn't too high. Games look cool as heck! I love the gamepad and how it controls different parts of each game.
