Watching randomly the Dollhouse season 1 finale knowing very little about the show: hmm. Must be an alternate future.

Reading benefits information at work, think AD&D insurance is gonna replace your 6th level paladin's warhorse if he gets in an accident. The nice lady in benefits informs me it stands for accidental death & dismemberment.

hahaha, love the benefits one. Every time I see a form that abbreviates to AD&D, that is where my brain goes first also.

I know I'm a geek, but I really know I'm a geek when I see things like 'DPS' written on the back of UK buses before its designation number (no idea what it actually stands for) and all I think is, god that bus does a lot of damage per second...

I think post Avengers movie (light spoiler) when I was trying to explain who Thanos was, Infinity Gauntlet, etc to some non-comic friends. I stopped at trying to explain Titans and his love affair with the personification of Death. It just sounded ridiculous.

You know what DPS, HoTs, DoTs, and GDKP stand for. However, you have no idea was DH, DD, DS, and TTC stand for at all. Oh, and you're a woman on top of it, with a new baby.

Well I fail at that one then because I know what they all mean. The worst part for me is when we are out in public and I am randomly whispering (so little ears can not hear), most times, sometimes that is "adult" related, ending in "thats what ____ said" or random meme's. I really need a way to take GDKP and change it over for my DH about "no dinner for you" when he acts up.
