I cannot read it without thinking it sounds really pretentious. Idk why... Maybe because it gives the whole thing too much credit. There's not a ton of continuity there, it's just a series of average movies (debatable, yes, but these movies will not be the standard bearer for comic movies for long. They aren't THAT good, no matter what you think.)

I missed the old Doom defiant definitiveness. Why use cinematic which could easily be confused for comic? Rule 1 of design is assume your users have IQ in the 80-90 range.
