I have had a bunch of people ask about Tales to Astonish #27, it being the first appearance of Ant-Man/Henry Pym.

According to the folks at Marvel, #27 is out of continuity. Part of this issue was re-purposed in #35, but the issue itself isn't in the "Super-Hero" world but was more along the lines of the amazing adventure stories they were publishing at the time.

What is the pub date? I think that it if it falls in this universe it should be linked to him, maybe as a note or something.

Maybe it's officially out of continuity, but it definitely belongs in the order. Pym is a big player in the Marvel U and I would think his inauspicious beginnings as a one-off short story would be something anyone seeking out a site like this would want to see and read.

Is it really out of continuity? It's been a while, but I don't remember anything that would seem to disqualify it. Or did they just retcon it to something different later?
