Travis, maybe you just haven't added this yet, but I thought you were pretty much done with 1987, so I thought I'd point this out. There was an original Wolverine story titled "The Hunter" that was printed in a book titled
The Best of Marvel Comics in 1987. There's a brief description of this book
here, where you can see the table of contents. "The Hunter" is an in-continuity 616 story, so it should be in the Order.
I was aware of the story, but have been having trouble find any information on that books. I can find nothing on published dates, released dates, who is in the story, who worked on the story....I will get it included if someone can direct me to real info on this book (pretty much everything you see on an issue details page I need to know)
Also, don't take the next paragraph as I am disagreeing. Everything I find says this story is in 616...(I just haven't included it because I can't actually find enough info on it to include it)
But.
Just because a story is in an anthology book, doesn't mean it is in-continuity 616. There are a lot of anthology books with "new" stories of characters that are clearly not in-continuity. Marvel, especially during the 80s and 90s, made a lot of anthology trades, and they were not always 100% 616 material. Nothing in that table of contents suggestions what universe the story is in one way or another. The Mobius Silver Surfer books were tagged as a "all new Silver Surfer story", with no indication that it is in or out of 616 continuity. I am just pointing this out because you put up a lot of anthology books or marvel listing books as "proof" that it is 616, and we should be careful about this. When putting together repackaged material, I have seen a ton of errors and non-connected things repackaged together without thought to what continuity something is in...
