That is a pretty neat bundle... not something I would be interested in, but still neat.

All added. Nice week.. some odd holes in the Iron Man stuff, but I imagine they will get filled.

The Thor Annual was great, all the stories were there which is a nice bonus!

Stats!
% of Comics on MU: 60.08% Site
Main %: 39.72% List

A bigger gap, not sure what caused this... but still not to bad...

Meh .... still a very underwhelming month so far. I think I was expecting more Spidey. Maybe next week.

Meh. Every week where we get some new old comics is a good week.

Marvel have added a lot of Spider-man issues this year... although yes they could still add the missing issues from the first two volumes of Marvel Masterworks: Marvel Teamup.

But yes July have been so far a slow month and I sincerely hope that they add the missing parts of those Iron Man- threeparters. They have added part 1 and 3 for two of them, while still missing part 2. That's a bit annoying... but luckily I'm not close to those issues yet.

Everyone always assumes they release comics based off of the movie thats coming out, or is out.. I dont think they have done that once.

I was not expecting Spidey stuff (although they do need to get a good chunk of it in here).

Any week where we get more then 1 or 2 older comics is a good week.. there was a time where we didnt get any older comics for a month or two..

A time way back in 2016, lol. I hate to complain because I'm terrified they'll decide MU is not worth the expense anymore or they might decide the storage costs are too much and start rotating their offerings. I'm thankful that they add anything at all and they keep offering the service on the same terms. Would I love it if the entire catalog was on there? You bet, but I also know that there are costs associated with doing that. I'm afraid that the industry still weighs sales of individual issues far above anything else, and MU could be seen to be cannibalizing that revenue. I'm way too committed to this reading order thing for Marvel to screw me right now, so let's all just be happy we got a good chunk of early 2000s Iron Man this week :)

The storage can't be an issue. Storage on AWS is around 40$/month per terabyte, and I suppose that store all the comics marvel has ever printed (around 35k comics?) wouldn't be more then a couple of terabytes. Let's say they want to store a really large version of each comic, 4 times larger -> 8 terabytes == 320$ per month.
Assuming that everyone has got the annual plan (5,75$ per month), they need 56 people signed to pay for storage.
The issue is probably bandwidth, but bandwidth usage increase along with signed up users, so I suppose is "included" in the subscription cost.
The main costs anyway are probably paying engineers to develop and maintain the apps, api, website and so on, but most of them are probably shared with the other services they provide (online shop for individual issues, marvel.com website etc.etc.).
